Do you notice when you use commercial soap that your skin becomes dry and tight? Lots of people have developed skin irritations by using soaps, crèmes and shampoos that contain harmful ingredients. Have a look at the small print on your soaps and it’s clear you have to be a scientist to understand what you put on your skin.

After experiencing skin problems in our own family I have done some research and started making our own soap. And what a change !!

The biggest difference between handmade and commercial soap is that commercially they strip out the natural glycerin to sell as a by product. Natural soap is loaded with natural glycerin and it keeps your skin soft and healthy.

The soap I make is great for the whole family. Its vegetable based, contains no nasty chemicals, lathers great, and contains only light, fresh scents. Besides the normal bars I have made special gift soaps in the shape of angels (to hang in the Christmas tree) and roses. The comments I have received from people have been so positive that I have decided to sell these soaps locally.

With the ever increasing man made chemicals in the world it’s good to use a natural product. If you are using anything commercially produced, I think you will be amazed by the difference in your skin once you start using natural soap.
